Growing up I’ve always had a passion for technology - keeping up with the latest developments, products and innovations. As a result, I ended up studying programming for a year. Whilst I didn’t necessarily dislike coding, there was an itch left unscratched.
It was during that year that I discovered I found the reasoning behind our choices in creative processes - the why rather than the how - far more interesting. After finishing the first year of my programming studies, I moved on to Communication and Multimedia Design.
Throughout my studies as designer I’ve been able to combine my passion with technology with my fondness for social projects. Various projects have allowed me to tackle societal problems, working on innovative design solutions for topics such as sustainability, digital accessibility and declining mobility amongst elderly citizens. These projects have allowed me to hone my empathy skills, connecting with users through tests and research and learning how to truly center my designs around their needs.
In my spare time I enjoy watching a fantasy film and rollerskating (or just working out!). I also like to draw, either on paper or using a drawing tablet, as well as edit videos occasionally for passion projects.
